Bentley Farms wants every guest to feel welcome, online and on the estate. We work to make this website usable for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What we've done
- Descriptive text for photos, so screen readers can describe each image
- A clear heading structure and a "skip to main content" link on every page
- Labeled form fields with clear error messages
- Text and background colors chosen for readable contrast
- Layouts that adjust to phones, tablets and zoomed-in screens
- Buttons and links that work with a keyboard, with visible focus outlines
- A text description of our estate video, which is set to instrumental music with no spoken words
Known limitations
- Some linked documents, such as our PDF guides, may not be fully accessible yet. If you need any document in another format, we're happy to send it.
On the estate
The estate has an ADA-accessible entrance and restrooms, on-site parking, and a staffed golf cart for guests who need assistance. Service animals are welcome indoors.
